Google made giant steps to become a major social media player in 2011 with the launch of Google+ and its business pages. However, one flaw was soon pounced upon by those that know the importance, relevance and influence of social media for business - only one person could own and manage the Google+ business page.
If you were a sole trader this was fine but for those that had more members of staff a problem was clear. If the person who set up the account was on holiday, sick or left the company the Google+ account was not accessible.
Google has just announced the availability of 'Pages', allowing businesses and other organisations to establish their profile on the Google+ social media system. Pages will allow you to share updates, images and videos with individuals and companies that have added the Page to one of their circles.

OK, as I’m sure many of you are aware; Google is rolling out their own social networking site, Google Plus. Some of you may have joined it and had a play, many of you have probably not given it too much thought and stuck with Facebook. I have joined and done some initial exploratory analysis to see how it compares to the likes of Facebook and Twitter.
