5: Customer Reviews

Buyers trust the opinion and experience of other buyers. By allowing your customers to share their experience of using your products, you will convert more shoppers to buyers. Ask for reviews after they have made a purchase, making sure the reviews include a star rating system and are applicable for each product.

A growing percentage of shoppers read review before purchasing a product or booking a holiday. Statistics suggest that over 70% of customers will read product reviews before making a purchase on line, the main reason given is that it makes them feel more comfortable that they are buying the right product.

Make sure where possible, the reviews are relevant to the product the customer is viewing and use a star system; this makes it easy for customers to make a quick assessment of the opinion of others.
